District Bishop – Roy Carrico
Roy Carrico is a third generation Pentecostal and grew up in the Pentecostal Church of God. He attended San Jacinto College, the University of Houston and Southern Bible College all in his home town of Houston, Texas. For 27 years he has served in various ministry positions. He travelled the East Texas District as District Youth Director. He has served as lead pastor in Sour Lake, Texas and Gosnell, Arkansas and was Co-pastor in Baytown, Texas. Currently he holds the leadership position of District Bishop. He has preached youth camps and church conferences in several states. His ministry can be characterized as Bible based preaching with an emphasis to earnestly contend for the powerful experience of Pentecost.
District Women’s Director – Paula Carrico
Paula has served in ministry with her husband, Roy, for over 27 years. They are currently serving as District Bishops for East Texas Pentecostal Church of God. She has a Bachelor’s degree in education from Stephen F. Austin University and has taught for the past 15 years. Paula and Roy have three children, Lynnea, husband Josh, grandsons Jaxon and Rilynn; son Jeffrey, wife Danielle; and youngest daughter LeAnn, husband Travis.
District Youth Director – Josh Martinez and wife Lynnea
Josh and Lynnea Martinez have served as the East Texas District Youth Directors since September 2015. They have a love for youth and worship, but their main passion is Missions. Josh has been on several foreign missions trips, and together, they plan to take Impact ETX on a mission’s trip every year!
After getting married in 2010, Josh and Lynnea have served in several different ministries, including College and career pastors, worship team members, youth sponsors, Associate Pastors, and currently Impact ETX. They travel all across the district with their two boys, Jaxon, born in 2012, and Rilynn, born in 2015.
Lynnea graduated with her Bachelor of Arts & Applied Sciences degree from Texas A&M Commerce in 2012, while Josh completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology in 2010, and his Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2012. He has also started his coursework towards a Doctorate degree in Education.
